Herriman vs. Lehi — How Do You Choose?
Herriman is linked directly to FrontRunner to get to the airport and downtown Salt Lake — but so is Lehi. The bigger difference is county: Herriman is in Salt Lake County, while Lehi is in Utah County. Herriman has better road access today, but Lehi is quickly closing that gap with three different highways running through it.
Most people living in Herriman commute out for work — to Salt Lake, South Jordan, or Lehi. Many people in Lehi live, work, shop, eat, and get entertainment without ever leaving Lehi. That’s a real day-to-day lifestyle difference, not just a commute number.
Layout-wise, Herriman has more of a master-planned feel with hilly terrain. Lehi is flatter and reads more like a grid than a master-planned community. Neither is objectively better — it comes down to whether you want a city you rarely have to leave, or a more traditional commuter suburb with strong transit access.
